Hi, I’m Maho, a Tokyo-based Project Manager and NLP Master Practitioner Coach.
For the past 23 years, I’ve provided my Project Management expertise on a project-to-project basis to various global companies based in Tokyo as well as Singapore, with corporate headquarters across Asia, the US, and Europe.
I’ve been wanting to create a space to share ideas that have been relevant to my career and passions, so on this website, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and perspectives as well as online workshops on these main themes: Human resources/development and communication.
This includes being able to not only survive but thrive within these changing times, whether you are working within a corporate structure or not. I will share why I believe personal development and communication are crucial in having a strong career, along with my actual experiences on what I’ve done as a project manager. The skills and assets that have helped me to become successful include the ability to:
Manage teams composed of people of various cultures in both Japanese and English
Deliver solid results on projects and requests
Know the importance of execution
Have the experience and knowledge of both executing and directing tasks
I hope that by sharing my experiences and joining my Challenges and other events, you’ll be able to gain some new insights. Let’s work together toward inspiring the next generation of positively-minded, strong and shining talent to drive our workplace.

After graduating with a BA in Psychology from Manhattanville College in New York, I’ve worked as a project manager at various global corporations, including Merrill Lynch, based in Tokyo and Singapore, for over 23 years.
Bridging the gap between employee satisfaction and organizational execution is what I’ve had a lot of success in through my project management experience.
I recently got certified as an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner Coach, and it’s my passion to combine my psychology and finance backgrounds to provide the best human resources and development advice for corporate clients.
People normally don’t associate words like “finance” and “global corporations” with human psychology. But really, our industry is built upon communication between people.
Our mindset is everything when it comes to influencing our work and everyday life. This website is just a little peek into my perspectives and experiences.
