#178 Emotions in various forms

Over the weekend, I held an Emotion Management workshop. It was an interesting experience for me as well, with illustration work, discussion, and digging deep together into our own emotions and situations!

When we first did the illustration work, the illustration itself conveyed the person's thoughts and emotions.

Here, I asked the participants to add their illustrations to their self-introductions and present them, and we also ask them to include their goals in their introductions.

The preliminary questionnaires we receive from the participants were only text-based.

However, I asked the participants to convey their thoughts and feelings to me through a different visual aspect of illustrations.

I felt that each of their thoughts about their current situations and the future were depicted in the illustrations.

I was very happy to have this work session because the number of participants was small this time.

It was also a learning experience for me as the organizer.

What struck me was the lack of understanding of the definition of "emotion," the lack of opportunities to talk about the topic of emotions, and the lack of awareness of one's own emotions.

This may be because Japanese people are less likely to express themselves openly.

Another reason may be the lack of opportunities to go outside and interact directly with people.

This study session ended with a declaration of this commitment.

I hope that it was an opportunity to become more aware and improve their life in the future by not letting negative emotions build up.

And for the past three days, I have been going to a place of learning with my NLP coaching trainer and fellow classmates.

It is precious to have a place to return to and people who gently watch over me.

I am not just thankful for them, but I would like to continue connecting with them so I can also offer that kind of support.

Lastly, on a holiday last week, I went with a friend to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms and rape blossoms.

My friends always invite me for a drive, and I am happy to be able to share time with them to be in touch with nature.

And I went sliding down a slide for the first time in a long time as an adult, lol.

February is over, and March is about to begin!

Wishing you all a week with at least a few more smiles!
