#174 Reviewing Your Environment

When was the last time you reviewed your environment? I think there are a variety of things involved, such as work tools, living environment, etc. I think it is important to review the environment, no matter how small the details.

Recently, I reviewed my work environment. I usually use a Mac laptop with a monitor connected.

When I started working 100% from home three years ago, I was happy enough with a 21-inch monitor.

However, after three years, my work style and my own needs have changed.

In my case, I started my own human resource development and coaching business a year and 3 months ago.

This is mainly online, so I am working with full use of dual monitors.

Also, my corporate work requires me to have several different applications open to work with.

As for my own personal changes, my eyesight got weak over the past few years, and I sometimes find that the text in some applications is too small.

So I took this opportunity to upgrade my monitor and purchased a larger one.

I think it is very important to improve your environment, and it will affect your performance in the future.

I felt that when there is a change this time, it is time to reevaluate and adjust the environment.

I have not received my new monitors yet, but I am looking forward to seeing how much my performance will improve.

Are there any things that you wish you had in place to improve your environment at this time?

It may be difficult to suddenly make a big change in the environment.

So, how about starting with what you can do now?

If you are like me, maybe your work style has changed, or you yourself have changed in some areas.

At that time, it may be the right time to review and adjust the environment as necessary.

But only start from what you can do now, review regularly, and implement one thing at a time.

This is the basis for getting things done, in my opinion.

January is quickly coming to an end and Japan continues to be as cold as ever.

Please take good care of your health!

I wish you all a week with as many smiles as possible!
