Customize the way you work

When we buy something, don’t we feel a little special if it is customized to our own specifications? But what about the way we work? Have we customized it to our own specifications?

In this article, I would like to share some of my experiences.

First, I'd like to briefly introduce my work style and experience.

  1. Employment status: temporary, permanent, outsourced contractor (project-based)

  2. Countries worked: Japan, Singapore (3 years, local employment)

  3. Industry: Finance (6 years of work experience, about 18 years of project management)

  4. Company size: small to large company

  5. Position: staff, team manager, project manager

The point here is not just to introduce myself to say, "I've got all this experience!” - but that my experience has allowed me to see the perspectives of various ways of working as a business person.

My corporate work experience has greatly influenced my own work in human resource development and coaching.

There were many times when I was forced to make sometimes painful and life-altering choices.

But because of these experiences, I believe that I am now able to customize my working style to my own specifications as needed.

In the future, the era of polarization and survival will become more and more severe.

I feel that it is more and more necessary for people to be able to choose their own way of working while utilizing their own abilities.

I would like to increase the number of such people as much as possible.

I believe that the first step is to know yourself, not to compare yourself with others.

For me, learning NLP coaching has been a major factor in learning about myself and facing myself. The school where I studied has organized coaching sessions specific to business, career and entrepreneurship and I'm planning to attend as one of the coaches.

It’s almost the end of February! It's been cold in Japan. Please stay warm and take good care of yourself, especially if you’re in a cold climate!

I wish you all a week full of smiles!
