#200 Take Charge of Your Own Life!
My recent thoughts: Next steps, change, and balance. In the fast pace of time, are you handing the helm of your future to someone else?
I would say to start it's all in what you can do first. Fine-tuning comes after that.
Don't hope for big things from the beginning. Build on small successes!
I myself am now challenging myself in this area to take the next step.
There are days when I’m faced with challenges, and there are times when I feel discouraged.
But I hope I can keep going, believing in myself and my support team.
To be honest, I don't feel the willingness to embrace change so much in Japan.
I feel it from my overseas colleagues and overseas networks.
How do we respond to these changes?
I think we need to be more and more aware of how we can diversify our risk by doing what we can do.
For example, I need to keep track of my funds and reassess them regularly.
I used to do this once a year or so, but recently I have been increasing the frequency.
And finally, balance is key to everything!
This is not something I started thinking about recently, but it has been my motto for a long time.
I believe it is important to know when to swing in one direction or the other, and when to make small adjustments.
Trying out different ways of doing things, rather than one way all the time, is also a way of balancing things in a larger sense.
At the end of the day, you are still in control of your own life.
But this is not the same as saying that you should do everything on your own.
You can rely on support from those around you, and there will be times when you will rely on professionals in specific fields.
I think it is important that all of these ultimately lead to making decisions and taking action on your own.
Are you in control of your own life?
Or are you letting others take the helm of your life?
If you don’t feel that you’re in control of your life, start with what you can do now.
And as for this blog, we are now at episode #200!
I started this blog wondering who would read it at first.
Recently, I am very happy to receive comments from time to time that people are reading it and are inspired by the small things I share.
I would be very grateful if you could give me your feedback in the comments section on social media, as it will encourage me to continue to do so!
The weather in Japan continues to be extremely hot. Time for some kaki-gori (shaved ice)!
I wish you a week with as many smiles as possible!
