#194 Reexamine What You Value
Today was the first in-person seminar hosted by my NLP coaching trainer. I would like to share what I learned there, as I re-examined what I value.
First, I looked back at what I value in each one of my two careers.
The first is my current project management job.
This theme that came up as a priority was Identity = can I work the way I want to work? and is it an environment where I can advance my two careers? (Fortunately, yes!)
Next was Connection = where there is good teamwork. In my own team, I have friends with whom I can talk about anything, and a good flow is created there. That is very important to me.
Finally, it is an environment where I can grow and improve. After all, project work always gives me new challenges.
For my own human resource development and coaching work, here, too, Identity = the part where the client can be themselves, is very important to me.
Next, Love and Connection = I am very happy to create a cycle of love and connection for my clients.
The last part is self-growth = clients improving whatever they are working on.
Even from the perspective of the two careers, the parts that I think are important at the root are all the same.
I knew that would be true, but I still felt the importance of stopping and verbalizing it regularly.
What I consider important is no one else's.
That is why I decided to keep what I value in my heart and move forward step by step.
I am grateful to my NLP coaching trainer and classmates for creating such an environment.
The photo is of lunch I had while catching up with my classmates. We sat on a terrace where the breeze was very nice.
What do you value in your life?
Why did you choose your current job and role?
I am going to have a busy week with a project team from the US, as I did last week. I will enjoy doing what I can do one by one!
I wish you all a week with many smiles on your face!
